Clay-Bond no-solder for joining metal pieces. No need to use a torch or solder!
Clay-Bond™ is a silver-containing powder used to join flat pieces of bronze, copper, and brass pieces (whether or not they started out as clay or 'milled' metal). The Clay-Bond powder turns into a solder paste when you add water. Simply apply it to the pieces you want to join, using a brush with short, stiff bristles, then fire the fully dried piece embedded in activated carbon. The result is a strong metallic joint between your metal pieces.
The binder contained in Clay-Bond dries quickly and holds the pieces in place, to avoid them shifting before firing.
You must fire the Clay-Bond buried in carbon, we recommend the 'Firing Tin for Accent Silver and Clay Bond'.
Each jar contains 5 grams of powder.
