Here's our NEW Large Premo Sculpey, which is the equivalent to 8 standard 57g blocks, making it the perfect economical option for regular users of polymer clay.
Premo Sculpey is an artist's dream come true! An extremely strong, durable clay, perfect for professional jewellery makers.
After conditioning this clay is soft enough to blend easily but firm enough to hold fine detail and for specialised techniques.
It's perfect for caning, mokume gane and mica shift. Because Premo retains flexibility, the finished product remains very strong and durable. This unique characteristic makes it our most durable clay, ideal for jewellery, home décor and functional items we use every day. It holds colour beautifully and is excellent for millefiori and canes.
A selection of 12 colours are available, intense on their own, and can also be blended for custom creations. This combination of strength and beauty is easily transferred to any project you have in mind. Whether creating millefiori beads and canes, delicate scrapbook pages, faux semi-precious stones or glass adornments, Premo Sculpey is the clay to use.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF OVEN-BAKE CLAYS? HOW SHOULD I STORE MY CLAY?
Oven-bake clays, when stored correctly in a cool, dry place, below 90°F and out of direct sunlight, have an expected shelf life of a few years.
However, the shelf life can be affected by changing environmental conditions, including heat and humidity, during shipping and storage. We store the clay in a cool and dry environment, but once it leaves us we no longer have control over the conditions the clay may be subjected to. We recommend inspecting the clay immediately upon receipt and contact us straight away if you have any concerns.
Oven-bake clays are meant to be a consumable product and not stored for extended periods of time. Improper storage may affect the quality of the clay. One aspect of oven-bake clays is that they react to very warm temperatures. If the clay is stored in a closet, drawer, or other enclosed space, there is an expectation that this will ensure freshness. Actually, the best place for longer term storage is in a refrigerator or freezer
