UNFORTUNATELY THIS RESIN CAN ONLY BE SHIPPED WITHIN MAINLAND UK, IT CANNOT BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE UK DUE TO FREIGHT RESTRICTIONS.
This crystal clear, very hard, two-component epoxy resin system is a more economical product for larger castings. The Pebeo Crystal Resin (sometimes called Gedeo Crystal Resin) cures perfectly clear and very hard. It can be used for mouldings, inlays, coatings or laminates. Can be coloured with glass colours - completely or surface only. Mix with colourants or Pearl-ex Pigments to add beautiful colours. Ideal for embedding dried flowers, shells, glitter etc. Perfect for small jewellery items such as brooches, earrings etc, as well as larger deeper castings. Can be de-moulded after 12 hours, full cure within 24 hours. Can be coloured with any of the UV colours we sell or other dyes, like PearlEx, crushed eyeshadows, and oil paints, also give interesting effects.

Even though it is not my favourite resin it offers more advantages than disadvantages and it is pretty good for casting in molds.
quite long pot life to give you plenty of time to work with and amend mistakes (e.g bubbles)
Cannot mix less than 20 ml resin + 10 ml hardener, otherwise it does not blend or cure properly.
Takes quite long to feel dry at the touch, longer than 12 hrs.

I have found that this product is excellent for modeling water on dioramas. It dries crystal clear, within 24hrs regardless of depth and you can also tint it slightly for different water effects. Highly recommended.

I like this resin, even if the curing time is not the best compared to other resins. If you respect the quantities and stir well, the results (jewelry pieces) are looking great.

I have used other resins previously which cured within 24 hours and produced solid, colourful castings. Unfortunately, this resin is average and I often find that the results are hit and miss, despite accurately measuring 2 part A and 1 part B. I used this resin yesterday and over 24 hours later the mouldings are still liquid; not even partially solid. I also used this resin to produce a foliage pendant and despite curing, the back feels like glue and is not 'crystal clear'. (The item I used was free from oil and moisture). I wouldn't recommend this resin if you use colourants, as it takes forever to become solid, (1 - 2 weeks) and feels like rubber after the first 2 days. I would recommend this resin only for larger castings without colourants, which can produce good results.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a product review.
In response I just wanted to say that I use this resin all the time, it is my favourite. I find the fluidity of it great, especially when working with inclusions. It's true that it can take a while to cure, especially depending on the time of the year, the weather and humidity etc. I find it very strange that after 24 hours the resin is still liquid. This could be due to a few factors: in-accurate measuring, not enough stirring, too much additives (such as colours), etc. I find that if you are adding colours, always add a few more grams of the hardener, this produces lovely solid castings every time.

If you use this product according to the instructions it works perfectly. It's tempting to cut corners; to not measure or stir properly but this will result in an imperfect finish. Done correctly it gives a great, glass-like finish. It's my second order of the product!
