Love this resin!! It's easy to use and makes European style beads perfect, any small blemishes are easy to sand away with fine wet and dry paper, the resin holds glitter well and I use it to fix my bead cores in bead.... Beautiful crystal clear results!!
This UV Crystal Resin replaces our 'UV Resin P2 Jelly Crystal Tube' which has been discontinued by our supplier. This replacement works and feels the same, but it means you get more for your money! Each bottle is 25g compared to the previous tube of 15g - it is also cheaper (the previous tube was £17.95)!
This great one-part crystal clear resin is so easy to use! With the help of a UV light box the UV Crystal Resin cures in minutes, rather than hours.
One of the best things about this style resin, is that the bottle has a useful applicator tip, making it easy to apply - no messing about with scooping thick gooey gel out of pots with sticky spatulas. You can apply the gel from the pot directly onto your piece, as it is quite thick it is easy to handle. The thick viscosity of the gel allows you to create slightly domed effects easily.
The gel cures rock hard in minutes with a UV light box. The time of curing varies on the UV light and if you add colour to the resin. In a high wattage UV light box, clear gel cures in only 3-5 minutes, in smaller boxes it can be around 5-10 minutes - still a lot faster than most resins! It will not leave a sticky surface, and doesn't need any polishing, unless you want to reshape it.
Make sure your UV light reach all the corners of the gel - add, and cure, in thin layers, ideally not thicker than approx. 2mm at a time. Angle your piece differently throughout the different curing sessions to help cure all of the resin.
Please note: there are LED versions of the UV light boxes available on the market - we can't guarantee this product will work with these boxes. We recommend you use a UV light box, like our own version here.
For best results store the pot in a dark environment under 20C.

It cure well with high density even when mixed with colour, mica powders and glitter. Multiple layers work best. I find it works better than Lisa Pavelka Magic-Glos because even if final layer has dark colours with AB films it still cures hard but longer. Best not mix brands. There has update and larger container is available so I'm gonna place another order. Silicone clear mould best and clear oyumaru with UV cure resin.
Great for jewellery :-) Small bottle so expensive for big items but a little goes a long way in jewellery:-)
AS WITH SO MANY OF THE OTHER REVIEWS I WISH THIS BOTTLE CAME IN LARGER SIZES AS IT WOULD MAKE IT MUCH MORE COST EFFECTIVE. HAVING SAID THAT IT IS BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE TO USE. I DON'T THINK I WOULD USE IT ON LARGER PIECES, BUT FOR SMALLER WORK IT IS A GODSEND. IT IS THICK ENOUGH THAT IT DOESN'T SEEP OVER THE EDGE, AND IT DOESN'T PULL BACK FROM THE EDGE EITHER. A BEAUTIFULLY CLEAR FINISH WITH NO WORRIES ABOUT NOT CURING PROPERLY, SO NO WASTAGE.
I love this resin. I only wish it came in bigger bottles to make it less expensive.
I use this to varnish my polymer clay sculptures, it gives a very shiny gloss that is perfectly clear. I only wish you sold bigger bottles :)
I am so delighted to find this product! I have used 2 part resins in the past and have ended up in such a mess! This stuff is so easy to use and gives just as good results without the smell, hassle and waste, as you use it straight out of the bottle with no mixing, etc. Brilliant! Looking forward to creating with this so much!
I love this product, it has endless uses and is perfect for sealing and capturing inclusions such as photos or glitter within your jewellery. It sets crystal clear providing a smooth shiny glass like finish. A simple, fast and easy to use resin perfect for small items. Highly recommended!
I found this resin much easier to use than a two part resin. It cures quickly with the uv light box. I did have some problems with tiny bubbles which I couldn't get to pop with a heat source. I found it best to rest for a few minutes before trying to cure and search very thoroughly for tiny bubbles with a magnifying glass. Bubbles that you don't spot turn into a tiny dimple on the surface of the cured piece. The viscosity is perfect for creating a dome on a flat suface, much less messy than a two part resin.
I was looking for a replacement for the 2-part casting resins. I found them to be messy and not always giving reliable results (bubbles/inconsistent etc). This resin is perfect! Fast results (4 mins with my imagepac light box) and no mixing to do. Best of all, the quality of finished pieces is spot on.
Absolutely perfect product! Used for pendants with photos, doll eyes, tears and other works. Easy to use, no bubbles, not sticky after becomes hard. Love it.
I used this, mixed with Pearl Ex powder, to add colour to a PMC silver ring I was making and it worked a treat The colours are vibrant and the resin set firm under the UV light to give the sort of lustre and finish I was hoping for.
After struggling to do repair work using epoxy resin, I decided to try this UV resin, and am extremely pleased that I did. It is easy to apply, sets within a couple of minutes in sunshine -- long enough to manipulate it like molten glass -- and is cured within quarter of an hour. It forms a strong bond without being sticky like epoxy, and can be sanded or filed afterwards, or left nice and shiny.
This resin cures super fast, no bubbles, no sticky film, super clear, rock hard.I had Magic glos before and ruined a lot of pieces with it, because it sort of cracks from within, if the surface isn´t at all flat. But with Ange Super resin you can resinate anything. With it being quite thick, you don´t need to worry about it running off the piece. Well, it is expensive compared to ice resin, but if you are an impatient crafter and don´t want to wait foe hours this resin is THE BEST CHOICE.
