Vintaj Patinas are opaque inks specially formulated to adhere to metal. They create beautiful patina effects on metal which are long-lasting and durable. Each colour combination has been developed to mimic natural patinas which would occur over time.
They can be blended and layered to create endless patina effects, and are easily cleaned up with water. Mix with glaze for added protection to the coloured layer, or to dilute and create a colour wash.
The patinas are fast drying with a satin finish
No acids and UV safe

convincing colours with good adhesion
Applied to a forged iron candlestand to give a verdigris effect. The contents are easy to apply with a brush or small sponge and for the size of the bottle go a long way. The colours are quite vivid so subtlety is required when applying. The product has great adhesion which makes it durable, and can be matted down if required wiyh a matt sealer
