Emma Mitchell Silver Clay Kit - for Emma's online silver workshops in casting nature
Metal Clay UK and Emma Mitchell have collaborated to bring you this bespoke tool kit, which has all of the tools Emma recommends for her casting nature workshops - the perfect kit if you're taking one of Emma's online classes.
There are no instructions in this kit, it is a recommended tool kit to use alongside Emma's tutoring.
In Emma's online course you'll learn how to take fresh leaves, seedheads and flowers you may have found on nature walks or in your garden, and make them into truly beautiful pendants. The process of using Art Clay silver is like modern-day alchemy. You'll also learn about how making your pieces affect your brain biochemistry and in turn improve your mental health. The course is provided via a combination of videos, PDFs and live zoom sessions.
Emma Mitchell is the author two beautiful books, the Sunday Times bestseller 'The Wild Remedy' and 'Making Winter: A Creative Guide for Surviving the Winter Months'. She writes about nature for the Guardian, and posts regularly on Twitter as silverpebble. You might have seen Emma on BBC's Countryfile Winter Special. Emma talked about beating winter blues and showed Anita Rani how to cast silver leaves, twigs, and other treasures. Have a look here, Emma's slot starts about 45 minutes in.
