Baking soda for craft and jewellery making use.

Use this to clean silver, and to neutralise any pickling solution possibly left on/in your jewellery after pickling.

To neutralise the acid: mix up about 1-2 tablespoons with a large mug of warm water and soak your pieces for about 15 minutes.
To clean jewellery (perfect before oxidising with liver of sulphur etc): put a spoonful in the palm of your hand and add a few drops of water until you have a paste. Scrub your silver with the paste and rinse with clean water.
