Metal Clay Flex Formula Liquid - magical drops to make any metal clay flexible!

This fantastic formula can add flexibility to your favourite metal clay - no more shopping around for specific clays just for their pliable qualities!

It works great with Art Clay Silver, whether you use Fine Silver 999 or Sterling Silver 950. 

The Flex Formula Liquid will give all your metal clays an extended flexibility and give, even in the dry stage.

WHAT CAN YOU USE IT FOR?

Some people love this for ring making, as they find the additional flex makes it easier to join ends. 

Create your own textured bezels for stone settings.

Bend and shape your clay further even when dry, which can make construction easier!

It creates a dream surface for carving, whip out your Dockyard micro carving tools and carve away, enjoying the smoothness of the clay which resist breaking. 

Create clay sheets which can be cut, carved, or engraved with a Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore, Silhouette Cameo, Portrait and similar machine, Brother or other cutting machines.

You can also cut out shapes using die cuts, punches or decorative or fancy scissors.

How to use the Metal Clay Flex Formula Liquid:

• Add 1-2 drops per gram of clay - less or more can be added as you see fit. Start with that amount and do a test to see what works for you (we don't recommend you add much more than 2 drops per gram).
• Knead well into clay (whilst keeping it wrapped in cling film), then leave to sit for 20-30 minutes wrapped up or in a moisturising pot. It will need to sit a little to stop the clay from being too wet, as the liquid will add moisture.
• Once mixed in, clay will remain slightly flexible even after drying on a hot plate!

Results are best when clay is rolled between 1 - 2.5mm thick.
