It is also suitable for steel, and different acrylics, epoxies, and plastics. \u003c\/span\u003eIt also polishes soft stones beautifully. It is especially formulated to not scratch soft stones (like turquoise, lapis, malachite, amber, and rhodocrosite) so it can safely be used to polish jewellery with stones already set - a real time saver! It doesn't cling to or penetrate the surface of stones.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt comes in a push-up cardboard tube (please note it has no lid - this is how it is supplied by the manufacturer as a lid is not necessary) \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eZam is usually applied to a buffing wheel on a bench polisher, buffer, or flexshaft tool.
