These fireable settings are used to add gems or stones to your silver.

Instead of just sinking the stones into the clay, use these settings for a smarter more traditional look. The bezel setting also allows you to set non-fireable stones.

The bezel is made from 26 gauge (.016") fine silver. The exclusive tabs that protrude from the bezel's base allows a mechanical connection with the metal clay providing a secure bond.
The feature of the open back allow the use of a pointed back stone. If you use a pointed back stone, be sure to clear the metal clay from the open area at the base of the setting to allow space for the point of the stone.

Simply press the tabbed end into the wet silver clay and fire. Then place the stone and close the bezel tightly around the stone to secure it. You can use a burnisher to push the bezel edge tightly around the edge of the stone. Keep pressing, and pushing, and burnishing, until you don't see any gaps between the stone and the edge of the bezel.
