Handheld Gas Torch Economy

Perfect beginner's torch for silver clay firing. This torch really is easy to fill, burns long, and is self-igniting.

The torch has a base, so you can put it down if you need to take a short pause in the firing. Use with a firing block. Comes empty, as we're not allowed to send gas by post in the UK.

You simply fill it with a standard aerosol butane gas lighter refill (which you can buy from most supermarkets, tobacconists, hardware stores and news agent). PLEASE NOTE: Butane gas is NOT the same as lighter fluid - you must make sure you get gas, not fluid.

When you fill the torch with gas you should do it in small increments, keep pressing the gas canister's nozzle down onto the filling vent until the gas starts spitting - then you know it is full.

*Please note - You must direct the flame at a 45° angle at a distance of about 5 centimetres, if you do not fire at the correct angle you may cause damage to the torch* (See the learn more section at the top of the website for more instructions on torch firing)
