Makin's Professional Ultimate Clay Extruder For Metal Clay

The Makin's® Professional™ Ultimate Clay Extruder™ Stainless Steel Edition is especially designed for use with metal clays.

This Makin's clay extruder has been designed with metal clay artisti in mind. The barrel is made from stainless steel which will is safe to use when working with metal clay. Also, all the clay inside the barrel extrudes, so nothing is left (and wasted) inside the cylinder  - it is absolutely clean. Just remove the die and rubber ring and use a clay shaper to remove the small bit left between the rubber spacer and die for zero waste of clay. 

Of course it is not just for metal clay artists - many polymer clay artists (who prefer a smaller barrel, sturdier construction, and ease of cleaning) also love this stainless steel extruder.

To use the clay extruder: 

• Select the desired disc and place it in the Bottom Cap and secure it onto the barrel
• Use fresh pliable metal clay for best results
• If using polymer clay, knead it to soften the clay before extruding
• Wind the handle to extrude your shape
• Do not pull and force the plunger out if there is still clay in the extruder as it may damage the plunger

Hollow forms and tubes!
You can use other Makin's discs with this. And for a lot of metal clay artists, the most exciting disc of all are the hollow clay core adaptors! These allow you to extrude hollow tubes and other shapes. Perfect for making stone bezels, hinges, tubes and lots of other exciting metal clay stuff! These adapters are available above as an optional add on to your extruder. They're available in 2 sets: 1, 2 & 3mm or 3.5, 4, 4.5mm
