IT / Enamel Solder Wire. Cadmium and Indium Free.

We love solder wire - it is easier to cut than sheet solder (no curling up or pallions shooting across the studio). The wire can easily be hammered flat and thin, so you can control the amount of solder you apply. No one likes a messy overflowing solder join!

This IT (intense temp) silver solder wire is designed with enamelist artists in mind. It has the highest flow/melt temperature out of our solders, so your solder join won't melt or move even if you work with high temperatures as you enamel.

If you're soldering a piece that requires more than one soldering point, start with the hardest solder and work your way down to the easiest (the one with the lowest flow point). This way you avoid meiting the previous solder joints.

Sold in 1 metre lengths, each metre weighs approximately 5-5.5 gm.
