This set is the perfect accessory for any jeweller who uses a tumbler to polish up their jewels. Avoid those dreaded tangled chains with these wonderful frames and save time! They're also a great tool for students attending workshops, making it easy to identify your own work (or a great addition for tutors to also offer students)!
Made of Delrin, they are durable, strong and slightly flexible. The frames are resistant to abrasion, water, and chemicals. They won’t damage or scratch your work, and require only a simple rinse after use. Compatible with all types of tumbling media, they are also safe to use in pickle solutions.
- 2 different large frames (chain style and chain/component style)
- 2 different medium frames (chain style and chain/component style)
- 20 reusable brass pins (safe to use in pickle pot)
- 20 nylon adjustable cable ties
How to use:
For chains, simply thread through the eyes in the round frames, leaving some slack so that the design has the ability to move slightly. Slack allows the tumbling media to make contact consistently over your piece. Clasp the chain ends together, or use the pins/cable ties to attach the chain to the frame. You can also use these frames to attach smaller items like stacking rings, earring backs, clasps and more!
PLEASE NOTE: The wheel set is not included. Do not pull your chain too tight, as this may damage or break during the tumbling process. It is common for the brass pins may darken over time, this will not affect the use.
