Would you like to add Makin's Claycore Extruder Adapters at 15% off?

The Makin's® Professional™ Ultimate Clay Extruder™ Deluxe Set combines the next generation of the Makin's patented screw-type extruder, 15 popular disc designs, 3 sizes of Claycore adapters and 2 extra O-rings in a convenient and secure storage case.

The new extruder incorporates an L-shaped handle that can be adjusted to optimise comfort, and internal features to accommodate higher torque requirements. The discs included are an assortment of designs and the three different sizes of Claycore adapters (1mm, 2mm & 3mm) are used in conjunction with discs which enable artists to create custom beads of various shapes and designs. The durable case has an easy-accessible resting place for the extruder, ten separators which keep accessories organised, a clear see-through top and a double latch locking mechanism.

The extruder is made from stainless steel which will is safe to use when working with metal clay. All clay inside the barrel extrudes, leaving the cylinder absolutely clean. Just remove the die and rubber ring, and use a clay shaper to remove the small bit left between the rubber spacer and die for zero waste of clay.

It's not just for metal clay artists - many polymer clay artists who prefer a smaller barrel, sturdier construction, and ease of cleaning, also love this stainless steel extruder.

The deluxe set includes 15 discs with smaller shapes, ideal for metal clay.

You can use other Makin's discs with this - and most exciting off all - the hollow clay core adaptors which allow you to extrude hollow tubes and other shapes. Perfect for making stone bezels, hinges, tubes and lots of other exciting metal clay stuff!

We do not recommend you store your metal clay in the extruder, once you've finished, remove the clay and store in a moisturising container or similar.

To use the clay extruder:

- Select the desired disc and place it in the Bottom Cap and acre it onto the barrel.
- Use soft pliable metal clay for best results
- For polymer clay, knead a small amount to soften the clay before extruding
- Always put soft clay in from the bottom of the barrel, do not pull and force the plunger out if there is still clay in the extruders as it may damage the plunger.
