PICK/PACK & STOCK ASSISTANT
Are you looking for a job that'll keep you busy and on your feet for most of the day? We might be looking for you!
We are looking for a full-time Pick/Pack & Stock Assistant to join our small, friendly, family-owned team.
Getting orders picked, packed, and despatched daily and keeping on top of our stock is the most important aspect of anything that happens in our office so you’ll be taking on a very important role.
We're passionate about quality products and top-notch service, and we're seeking someone who shares that enthusiasm. If you love helping people, efficency, keeping things running smoothly, and thrive in a supportive, close-knit environment, we would love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone to join the team as soon as possible.
What you'll do:
This role's main focus is getting our customer's orders out promptly and safely every day, and ensuring that our stock is ready for sale at all times. Responsibilities include:
- Printing and picking orders daily, and twice a week pack and ship orders
- Stock management support, keeping stock room organised, and pick bins full
- Stock checks, stock counts, quality control
- Goods-in and out - receiving and checking in deliveries, handling courier collections
- Kit making and re-bundling goods for retail
- Keeping the warehouse and office clean and tidy
- Other stock and show support as needed
Being a small team, there will be times when you’ll be asked to do other things outside your job role. Our team is flexible and always willing to step outside our roles when needed.
What makes you perfect for this role?
- Sitting in front of a computer isn’t for you - you’re physically fit and happy to be busy on your feet most of the day. You’ll be counting sets of hundreds of miniature sized items one day, and moving and lifting big and heavy boxes next day - we're handling a lot of stock varying from 1mm stones up to 20kg kilns. We’re not a large warehouse (no forklifts here) but you will be busy and up and down the stairs across our two floors.
- You’re sharp and proactive, and take pride in your work, you’re able to follow instructions with precision and report back on completion.
- You must be punctual. If your start time is 8.45am you’ll be expected to be ready to start work at 8.45am.
- You need good reading skills, and excellent attention to details - can you spot the difference between 197-SL45982x and 197-SL49852x at a glance?
- You have good numeracy skills, and can stay focused to count 165 miniature sized products without losing track - even if the phone is ringing and people are coming and going around you.
- You need to be comfortable using a computer for managing orders and stock (software training will be provided) and maintaining accurate records.
- You enjoy independently owning tasks and responsibilities.
- You're focused, friendly and positive even on a Monday morning or under pressure.
Why you'll love working with us:
- A small friendly, supportive, and close-knit team.
- Opportunities for growth and recognition.
- Great staff discounts on creative products.
- Free parking, coffee, tea, and occasional treats
Working hours: Mon-Fri 8:45-16:30

IMPORTANT
We’re a small company with a close team who care for, appreciate, and rely on each other.

It might be setting up the studio/meeting space for in-house training or events, or sorting out exhibition material.
