Pam East - Shallow Dome Form
Designed by Pam East, this shallow dome form is great for adding shape to your clay or enamel pieces.
The copper sheet is approximately 13cm x 13cm and the dome itself is approximately 9cm across and quite shallow.
As Pam says herself, "A shallow dome like this is needed for nearly all my enamelling projects.".
The sheet can withstand high and low temperatures, so great for using on the hot plate and for baking polymer clay (would recommend reducing your oven temperature a little bit though).
When using clay, make sure you remember to add some release to the form first, then simply lay your clay on. You might need to tease the ends down gently so it takes the form properly. A great tip: bend one corner of the drying form up slightly so you can use tweezers to move it on and off the hotplate.
