Not only is this a great product when working with Metal Clay but it's so portable, especially good if you are teaching and lugging your kit here there & everywhere! You can also use the lid as a clay keep by just adding a drop of water in the lid & placing it over clay that you will be using within a few minutes (beyond that put it back in it's wrap/pot)
The 100% natural Badger Balm is used as a release agent on your texture sheets and rubber stamps, to stop them from sticking to your clay.
Rub some on your hands before you work with the clay to stop your skin from drying out the clay.
And, why not use it on your dry lips, skin, nails, and feet too?! It is the gentlest, smoothest, healing skin soother you can find. It is made from Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax, Castor Oil, and NOTHING else. Perfect for sensitive skin....and silver clay.
** Please note: this product has a 12 month shelf life once opened.
Always happy with Badger Balm - use it for all my workshops as well
The first time I used it on a rubber stamp the clay stuck to the stamp quite badly. It feels as if it needs to be a much softer consistency for me to use it more easily. I also do not like the smell of it on my skin.
Works really well and can be used very sparingly. Smells nice too.
Smells good and works well for not sticking clay to texture. My hands don't end up getting stained and they are left moisturized after.
