Product Description
NEW! Alumi-UV is a single component, semi-flexible, extremely durable, clear doming and coating resin.
Once cured with UV light (365nm), it produces a high gloss coating on paper, plastic, wood, metal, and more!
Alumi-UV has a medium viscosity which is great for covering items and applying even coating to unsymmetrical shaped items. Multiple coats can be applied to build coating thickness. Cure each layer for 10 minutes to ensure a hard finish.
This one part system is shelf stable when stored between 13 and 26 degrees C (50 and 80 degrees F.)
Cure times vary based on light source.
With cold temperatures in transit or storage it can become gelatinous. This is normal and just needs a hot water bath to return to it's usual consistency. To do this: put it in a bowl of HOT tap water (not boiling). The viscosity will thin right out but then make sure you dry bottles WELL before opening lid to use.
** Please Note: AlumiUV is not a UV Stabiliser additive for resin.

Don't really like it
Very rubbery finish, not a good tactile experience. If you're looking for a hard finish, this is not. Probably made this way for not being brutal but... Time needed under the Uv are longer then expected. Bad adhesion to some wood. All around, I don't really like this product.
