Inside the set you’ll find:
- Stainless-steel screw-style extruder, featuring an ergonomic rotating handle, adjustable L-shaped crank, and a non-slip barrel grip for comfortable, stable operation
- 20 popular stainless-steel discs - a wide variety of shapes frequently used by artists when creating geometric embellishments and complex armatures, great for vines, stems, borders, letters, hair, grass, lattice work, bricks, logs, beads, and more .
- Two extra O-rings to keep your extruder sealed and performing smoothly over time.
- The durable case has an easy-accessible resting place for the extruder, eight separators which keep accessories organised in individual storage compartments, a clear see-through top and double latch locking mechanism.
Why you’ll love it:
- The commercial-grade stainless steel construction provides enhanced torque capacity, ergonomics, and is suitable even for metal clay - no worries about scratches or wear
- The entire barrel cleans out easily, minimising waste - just remove the disc and O-ring, then use a clay tool to clear residue.
- The storage case keeps your extruder and accessories neatly organised for easy access, featuring an internal resting spot for the extruder and adjustable dividers.
You can use all Makin's discs with this extruder, including the fabulous Claycore™ hollow-core adapters for creating hollow tubes, bezels, hinges, bails, and lightweight forms.
How to use it:
- Select the disc you want and place it into the bottom cap. Securely screw the cap onto the barrel.
- Use soft, pliable clay - if working with polymer clay, knead it first to soften.
- Load clay into the barrel from the bottom. Screw in the handle to extrude.
- Don’t force the plunger out if clay is still inside - this can damage the tool.
