Painting Colours for Enamelling, Glass and Ceramics, includes 12 opaque colours!
These paints come in powder form with a 30ml water based medium and a 20ml Solvent based medium. You can use them to draw or paint over your enamelled surface, glass pieces or glazed ceramics and re fire between 670°C - 720°C depending on your material.

Also includes 1 x 30ml Water Based Medium and 1 x Solvent Based Medium.
To Use:
The painting colours can be applied to enameled, glazed or glass surfaces. Before applying the colours, any shiny surfaces should be sanded so the colours can stick to the surface easily.
There are 2 different mediums; water based and solvent based.
Take a pinch of a colour and put a few drops of the required medium onto it. Mix it with a brush and start applying.
The water based medium is quicker drying, and can be dried on a mug warmer or on top of your kiln (carefully!). Once dry place into a preheated kiln at 720°C. After a few minutes, the colours will stick to the surface permanently. You can apply further layers, dry them and fire them to achieve your desired look.
The solvent based medium can be used when you need more working time to complete your painting. In order to dry it, you need to leave the piece at least 12 hours. It can them be fired in the same way as the water based medium.
