Sterling Silver Ear Clip Flat Stamped Medium Unassembled
This unassembled sterling silver ear clip is easily soldered to an earring and fitted together to form a clip-on earring fastening.
Solder the smallest flat rectangular edge of the smaller 'joint' component to the reverse of an earring as desired. The large open side of the 'joint' component should be positioned pointing towards what will be the top of the earring.
To assemble, fit the two outer legs of the larger 'paddle' component into the circular holes on either side of the 'joint' fitting, with the curve of the 'paddle' component arching outwards.
The middle leg of the 'paddle' component forms a tension bar which should rest on the back of the 'joint' component, and which can then gently be pulled with fine nose pliers away from the earring to adjust the fit.
