Q - Why is my Foredom motor label red instead of blue—is it a fake?
A - Not at all! The red label is Foredom's official indicator that the motor is a genuine UK/European 230V model. Blue labels are strictly intended for US 110V power grids. Any legitimate hanging Foredom motor purchased in the UK should sport a red label. If you see a blue one over here, it’s either a grey import requiring a transformer or a dubious replica!
